Many women shy away from shopping for lingerie because they feel that they can’t find anything to fit their body shape or feel confident in. I want women to love how they look right now in their lives, not ten pounds from now, not one year from now- but right now. Even in lingerie!

{Tips to finding lingerie just for you}

1. Hourglass figure? Look for fabrics that accentuate the shape of your body. Items that taper in at the smallest part of your waist will work the best.
2. Shoulders narrower than hips? A v-shape top will draw the eye outwards and create a broader shoulder to balance out your hips. Also, Look for fabrics cut on the bias such as the turquoise dress in video, it will flatter any body shape (and hides bumps and lumps).
3. Voluptuous? Try separates. Many women are a different size up top than they are on the bottom. Separates will let you choose the size appropriate for different areas of your body.
3. Want to hide your tummy? Try a corset. It is truly magical! The weight of the material, the boning and seaming will hold everything in place. It also keeps “the girls” up where they belong and makes the torso look longer and leaner. Look for a corset that you can lace up to accentuate your natural curves or to create the hourglass figure.

Every few months I host a girl’s night out at a local boutique offering style tips, makeup and hair demos, drinks, shopping, goody bags, drawings, discounts and fabulous girl time!

The last event was held at The Blues Jean Bar in Cherry Creek North. This is not your typical bar- it is a safe haven for people in search of a cozy atmosphere to find the perfect pair of blues. In addition to the fabulous staff, serving it up was Hair Stylist Liz Mefford of Salon No Dice, Makeup Artist Sameera Ahmed of Makeup by Sameera, and capturing all the fun was Photographer Audrey Fisher of Audrey Michel Photography.

Take the stress out of getting dressed in the morning. Follow a few simple guidelines and you will be ready to roll each day.

1. Take 15 minutes the night before to pick out your clothing. (you know, just like mom used to do before the first day of school)
2. Look your items over for loose or missing buttons, wrinkles, or tears.
3. Iron anything that needs it.
4. Pick out your undergarments, shoes, and accessories and lay them out.
5. Leave your animals at home. Lint roll everything.
6. Go to bed knowing you are ready to take on the next day.

Now go ahead and press that snooze button!

Tina’s Tip: Have a “go to” outfit…ALWAYS! If you wear something and receive multiple compliments on it, remember what it was you were wearing, write it down, or take a picture. The next time you are in a rush to go somewhere you will have the perfect outfit already put together.
